Life in spain

Setting down at Barcelona airport early December 2003 seems like light years away right now. But that is where it all started. I remember getting off the plane... We had absolutely no idea where the hell we were going to go and we couldn't care less. Sure thing was that I had a lot of my favorite pot and we were in a place where it was warm and there was the big orb. The sun in the sky…

Surprises abound as the spring rains come with attendant chill winds. Our recent trip to the surrounding hills finally yielded a place to live, for a while anyway.
So, I have to bore on about the recent horrible weather as it was a disaster. That my one burning desire is to be in sunlight has been thrwarted for not just weeks here, but by the prior indignance of having to lived several years in London. Sunless and rain-drenched, there we were in a house, not quite what we dreamed, but something we have to accept in this quest of ours.
At least from here we can start to hop around and find the proper place, it must exist. We may even be able to fix up enough place to invite guests.
My wonderful friend Jay keeps me smiling and bounces through the waves of changing circumstances as the fresh new experiences drench her. Watching the flower bloom and grow is always such a thrill, the artist wringing out of the hardened shell. So even on this dark rainy day in the cold mountains, there was this bit of sunshine always near me, always touching me.
The road we choose now brings us mysteries each day. There are no maps for us to read and no road signs up ahead, so little expectations make infinite possibilities.
I am so happy to wake each day with this sun shine in my face.
